The Dolphins is a Chapter of the Family RV Association (FRVA) that was formed at the FRVA Annual Winter Convention in San Antonio, Texas in March 1989. At that time the twenty Dolphin owners who were in attendance at the convention met and voted to organize a chapter exclusively for owners of National RV, Inc manufactured motorhomes. These include Dolphin, Sea Breeze, Sea View, Marlin, Islander, Caribbean, Las Brisas, Tradewinds, Surf Side, Pacifica and Tropi-Cal motorhomes. Therefore, all models of motorhomes produced by National RV, Inc. are eligible to join. Membership in the FRVA is also required. Members of our Chapter live in all parts of the United States and Canada, so we are classified as an International Chapter, and thus join other manufacturer chapters in international activities. All members of our chapter may attend other FRVA chapter activities. If you read about an upcoming event of another chapter, do not hesitate to sign up and attend. The Dolphins are active in California, Arizona, Nevada and Utah, holding rallies in all four states. All Dolphin members are welcome to attend any campout scheduled while visiting the different areas. Semi-Annual meetings are held for the Dolphin members. When needed, board meetings are usually held at campouts. Members also attend FMCA area rallies as a group. The purpose of our Chapter is to promote fun, fellowship, and friendship among the many proud owners of National RV, Inc. motorhomes. We offer membership to all owners of motor coaches produced by National RV, Inc. and strive to provide helpful exchanges of ideas for the RV lifestyle. Our monthly newsletter (The Splash) is distributed to all members and provides information on past and future campouts, rallies and conventions.
