Description: The Outdoor Resort Palm Springs Family Motor Coach Association chapter was formed in April 1994 by 40 lot owners. The purpose of the chapter was, and is, to foster camaraderie and friendship among owners of lots at Outdoor Resort Palm Springs who own motorhomes. In April 2009, the chapter celebrated it’s 15th year of operation. To be eligible to join the FMCA-ORPS chapter a person, or family, must own a lot at Outdoor Resort Palm Springs and be a qualified member of FMCA. For the 2009-10 year there are 114 member families. The chapter is active during the winter season and organizes a number of events – a Welcome Back dinner, a mid-season potluck barbeque, a mid-season out-of-resort rally and a 3-day in-resort rally in March. In addition, a late spring or early summer rally in the Pacific Northwest has been organized a number of times.
